OMAHA, Neb. (FOX42KPTM) - The roads in Omaha are better compared to the way they were Tuesday afternoon, but that doesn't mean they're in the best of shape.
In Omaha Tuesday night, FOX 42 News found streets still slippery in every corner of the metro.  The residential neighborhoods were in worse shape compared to the main roads.  That's because heavy snow kept contractors on their toes from morning well into the afternoon.
Earlier in the day, heavy snow fell, tires were spinning and drivers got stuck.  It was that kind of day.  By late morning, large piles of snow in parking lots looked more like hills.  More than a half foot of snow had fallen.
