From a street in Quezon City sprung a well-intentioned scheme denominated Community Pantry, which offers goods and essential commodities including rice and everyone on Maginhawa Street was welcome to take them for their families needs.
Soon, this gesture became viral on social media and more Community Pantries were set up everywhere in the Visayas and Mindanao area.
People flocked to these structures and obtained whatever their families needed for the day to stave off hunger and keep them alive. ....

Pastor and bestselling author Francis Chan has criticized the Western Church for its lack of unity and obsession with busyness, stressing that the power and witness of the Body of Christ hinges on its oneness.
“We re not sober-minded. We are taking in so much. We have no self-control. We wake up and we just want to see what s going on,” the former California megachurch pastor told Exponential CEO Todd Wilson on Thursday.
“Right now, there’s so much noise and information and entertainment. We are so drugged up. Our minds are so messed up . and in the Christian Church, we ve become busier and busier. We try to scream louder and get more creative with the noise. I avoid a lot of that just because I m trying to be sober-minded and self-controlled so that I can pray because I believe the end is near.” ....

Did René Descartes have it backwards? "I Think…Therefore I AM"

René Descartes, the French philosopher, who s famous statement, I think, therefore I AM, was actually assuming that our thoughts, attitudes, personalities and specifically our mind are separate and have zero influence over our body.
When we look at his statement today, we realize that Descartes had his belief backwards. I Am, Therefore I Think is the more accepted statement. It is now widely embraced that the body and mind are fully integrated. Science now understands and accepts the fact that our mental state has measurable physical influences on our entire being, down to the very essence of our DNA.
Steven Mana Trink in his new book Navigating The Winds Of Change; A Spiritual Guide To Embracing A Loving Life, Balboa Press, gives us a clear and profound perspective that shows that we have the ability to influence our expression of our DNA and therefore experience our life in radiance, well-being and celebration. ....

Epigenetic Therapist Trink reveals how our "perception" impacts the expression of our DNA and the quality of our well-being.

Steven Mana Trink, a frequent guest on the Frankie Boyer Health Radio Show explains in his newly published book Navigating The Winds Of Change ; A Spiritual Guide To Embracing A Loving Life, by Balboa Press, that our
perception has a potent influence on how we see reality and the way we experience life. It is a major factor that influences our DNA expression and calls for a complete re-evaluation of life.
In Navigating The Winds Of Change, Steven Mana Trink brings insight to the question that changes everything: If reality is a fixed factor in the equation of life and each of us perceives the world through their own eyes (reality changes from person to person) than how do we know what is the illusion and what is real.. In which direction do we turn while navigating the mountain and valleys of life s challenges?  ....
