BBC hit show Line of Duty has police commissioner role all wrong, says North Wales crime tzar

THE portrayal of the police and crime commissioner in the hit TV show Line of Duty has been slammed as “totally unrealistic” by a man who’s been doing the job for real for five years.
North Wales Police and Crime Commissioner Arfon Jones is a big fan of BBC One’s ratings blockbuster but says that the behaviour of his television counterpart, Rohan Sindwhani, doesn’t ring true.
The fictional commissioner who lords it over Central Police plays a key role in the mind-bogglingly complicated twists and turns of the plot in Line of Duty.
Sindwhani was elected on the platform of "shaking things up" and exposing police corruption in full.

Line of Duty viewers are divided as new clues appear to hint Superintendent Ted Hastings is the final member of 'H', with the net possibly finally closing in on the mystery corrupt officer.
In series five, viewers got the bombshell that H could actually be four people, rather than one shady individual bent copper.
Those who have already been identified are Dot Cottan, Derek Hilton and Senior Legal Counsel Gill Biggeloe, leaving us with one final name to discover.

So we finally have an answer about the elusive Detective Superintendent Ian Buckells. Or do we?
Fans have long held suspicions that Buckells could be, as Hastings would put it, a "bent copper". Thanks to his tendency to be in the wrong place at the wrong time (or the right place at the right time?) and his deep disdain for AC-12, he's been one to keep a close eye on ever since the first season.

Oh, poor Terry Boyle. Used by the OCG – or “cuckooed” as Steve Arnott (Martin Compston) had it – for nine years, he was now deemed a danger to their balaclava-clad dealings and needed to be silenced. A convenient witness had come forward to claim she saw Terry, not Carl Banks, arguing with the dead CHIS, Alastair Oldroyd, in the Red Lion. With Terry back in questioning and nearly spilling all to MIT – “The other man. He did it” – undercover weasel PC Ryan Pilkington (Gregory Piper) attempted to tie up that dangerous loose end.
