Warren Opperman died on November 7, 2022 at Touchmark at Harwood Groves in Harwood, ND. Warren was born on August 7, 1926, in Fargo, North Dakota, the only child of Daniel and Louise Opperman. He attended Horace Mann Elementary School and graduated from Fargo Central High School. Immediately after graduation, Warren joined the Navy and served in World War II. He was the last surviving member of the original crew (“plank owner”) of the USS Fred T. Berry. He loved to reminisce about his navy days.
