Cyclists call for action after 26 incidents on Nudgee Rd before Hendra fatality

The death of cyclist Phil Pawsey on Nudgee Road on May 9 has triggered an urgent call for Nudgee Road cycling safety works. There have been 26 cycling incidents since 2001.

The Brisbane City Council has approved planning amendments that prevent the grounds of the heritage-listed, riverside mansion Home , also known as Lamb House, from being developed.

A Brisbane LNP councillor may have taken it a little too far by putting his name and the council logo on wayfaring stickers paid for by ratepayers on footpaths near a Taringa school.
