OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – Osceola County is reinstating a mask requirement at county facilities as coronavirus cases increase in Central Florida and across the U.S.
Social distancing requirements for employees and visitors have also been reinstated, according to the department of health.
The change came Tuesday after the latest mask recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. On Tuesday, the CDC made the recommendation even fully vaccinated people should wear masks inside in parts of the United State where cases are rising.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Employees with the Orange County Tax Collector’s Office must be fully vaccinated by the end of August, according to a memo sent to the staff.
“The law mandates that we provide a safe work environment for all employees and having non-vaccinated employees that can spread COVID-19 among other vaccinated employees is not providing a safe working environment,” the memo states.
According to the memo, county officials do not want to close the office due to an outbreak down the road.

Orange County continues its ‘I Got My Shot’ mobile vaccination trailer next week.The COVID-19 vaccinations are first come, first served and are offered while supplies last. Both the Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be available.
