TALLAHASSEE — The No. 17 Florida State men's tennis team is 19-8 and enters NCAA regionals fresh off an ACC Semifinals appearance last Saturday in Cary, N.C.   The NCAA selection show will be streamed live on NCAA.com on Monday, May 1st, with the men's tennis team selections beginning at 6:30 p.m. Singles and doubles selections for NCAA championships will be released on Tuesday. The last three rounds of the NCAA tournament will be played in Orlando, Fla at USTA National Campus.  

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Florida State freshman Makenna Reid picked up another honor on Friday as she was named one of 25 finalists for the 2023 TUCCI/NFCA Freshman of the Year award. This is the second consecutive year a Seminole has been named a top 25 finalist for the award as Michaela Edenfield was named a finalist last season. Reid has been dominant in the circle all season for the Seminoles as she has a perfect 10-0 record. In 55.2 innings pitched, Reid has allowed just eight earned runs for a staggering 1.01 ERA. TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The No. 4 Florida State softball team (40-8) picked up another win with a 5-3 victory over the No. 15 Florida Gators in front of a crowd of 1,836, the third largest crowd in school history, at JoAnne Graf Field on Wednesday evening. The Seminoles have now won four-straight games against Florida which ties the Seminoles longest win streak in the series. . The conference championship is double elimination and the Seminoles come in ranked as the second seed, just behind TCU. Alexis Durish also earned All-Freshman honors prior to the championships.
