TALLAHASSEE – The Florida State women’s tennis team (16-10, 8-7 ACC) moved up to No. 24 in the latest ITA rankings released Tuesday. The Seminoles are climbing up in the rankings after winning six of their last seven matches, including a 4-0 win against Louisville in the second round of the ACC Championships. TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida State’s Charlotte Heath, Lottie Woad, and Frederik Kjettrup have been named to the International Team for the 27th Annual Arnold Palmer Cup matches at the Laurel Valley Golf Club in Ligonier, Pa., June 8-10, 2023.  The Ryder Cup-style competition features men’s and women’s collegiate golfers from the United States versus their International counterparts. TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The No. 4 Florida State softball team (39-8, 16-2) will play host to in-state rival No. 15 Florida (32-14, 8-10) in front of what is expected to be a capacity crowd on Wednesday night at JoAnne Graf Field. BLACKSBURG, Va. - The fifth-ranked Florida State softball team (39-8, 16-2) had its best offensive game of the season in a 16-7 run-rule victory over No. 22 Virginia Tech (33-15, 12-9) to complete the series sweep on Saturday afternoon in front of a packed Tech Softball Park. The Seminoles' 16 runs were the most since 2020 against Detroit Mercy where they scored 22. TALLAHASSEE, Florida – Right fielder Jaime Ferrer doubled twice, his team-high 14th and 15th of the season, in Saturday’s contest against Virginia Tech. Ferrer now leads FSU with 56 hits and a .350 batting average. The teams traded runs in the second inning, with each side scoring courtesy of three hits. The Hokies added a run in the third and fourth innings to take a 3-1 lead against FSU starter Conner Whittaker.
