DELAND, Fla. - Michaela Edenfield hit a two-run home run in the top of the first inning, and the fifth-ranked Florida State softball team (36-8, 13-2) never looked back in a 7-2 win over Stetson (23-23, 9-8) on Tuesday afternoon in Deland, Fla. RALEIGH, North Carolina – NC State scored two runs in the bottom of the 10th inning to beat Florida State, 5-4, Sunday afternoon at Doak Field in Raleigh. Cam Smith had both of FSU’s extra-base hits in the contest, including a go-ahead solo home run in the top of the 10th. Andrew Armstrong pitched four scoreless innings in the contest. TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The No. 4 Florida State softball team (35-8, 13-2) hits the road for its second road midweek matchup of the season as they travel to DeLand, Fla., to take on Stetson (23-22, 7-8) on Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m. on ESPN+.
