An application to city of Lake Oswego shows property owners plan to replace First Addition house with larger one.
The Lake Oswego Preservation Society has a specific goal with a home in the First Addition neighborhood: to have it placed on the city s Landmark Designation List, which would save the home from demolition.
They re the pieces of our built environment that sort of create the sense of place that I think we all know of as Lake Oswego and of our neighborhoods, said LOPS member Jon Gustafson in an interview with Pamplin Media Group. Not every old house needs to be preserved, but the ones that are unique either architecturally or historically (should be). ....
