According to an assessment published by the UNESCO Regional Office, the persons with disabilities were disproportionately affected by COVID-19 which also resulted in anxiety and an increase in gender-based violence. Last month, Zimbabwe received 200,000 doses of the Sinopharm vaccine donated from China.
