The Indian Navy's P-8I aircraft has established communication with the distressed merchant vessel MV Chem Pluto, which caught fire in the Arabian Sea following a suspected drone attack. The vessel, carrying crude oil from Saudi Arabia to Mangalore, was located 217 nautical miles off the Porbandar coast.
