A foreign leader on a phone call. This is all according to the Washington Post. The complaint was triggered by a promise that the president made to that foreign leader. The big question this morning, of course, is what exactly was that promise . And to whom was the promise made . One thing is clear, though. A trump appointed Inspector General evaluated this complaint, found it to be of urgent concern which means, by law, it must be reported to congress. The law says that should happen after the judgment call is made. Yet so far congress has not been provided with any information.
