REVIEW: I was lucky enough to see Anne Frank: Parallel Stories (now streaming on TVNZ Ondemand) late last year. I remember walking in to the screening wondering what more could possibly be said about the life and death of Anne, but left feeling engaged and convinced of the urgency of telling her story again. If Anne Frank had lived, she would have turned 90 last year. Which is as good a reason as any to make a film that introduces Anne to a new generation.
