Milwaukee firefighters responded to the apartments near 22nd and Layton.

Milwaukee fire officials say a 10-year-old girl died from injuries suffered in an apartment fire on the city's northwest side Sunday, Nov. 19.

Chalk Mountain Fire in Somervell County is an estimated 4,000 acres and at this point only 10% contained.
