Liverpool prints by Helena Markson I am pleased to announce that the Walker Art Gallery has acquired a significant group of Helena Markson’s Liverpool prints. Markson is known for her vivid landscapes which combine intaglio printing techniques such as etching and aquatint. These prints are an important acquisition for the Walker. They show a period of great change in the city, while also representing an exciting era of printmaking in post-war Britain.
