Editorial: Lottery doing its part to help boost lagging state revenue
Massachusetts collected $268 million less in taxes than expected last month, further complicating the state’s already gloomy collections picture. Maybe the number-crunchers over at the DOR should look for an answer at another government agency – the highly successful Massachusetts State Lottery.
