The Hawk Eye reports that on April 28th, the labor movement observes Workers Memorial Day to remember those who were killed or injured on the job the previous year. The Burlington Beacon reports that the Mount Pleasant High School class of 2020 has started a GoFundMe campaign in memory of 20-year-old Pearson Franklin of New London.
