To meet growing demand for its luxury bourbons and rye whiskies, Buzzard’s Roost is launching a new online shop.

Buzzard’s Roost Whiskey has set out to re-launch its inaugural whiskey under a new name, "Char 1 Rye."

Buzzard’s Roost Whiskey is releasing a new, limited edition Cigar Rye finished in American oak barrels that were cold-smoked with aged tobacco leaves grown in Kentucky. Borne from the unique barrel alchemy for which Buzzard’s Roost’s is known, the result is a rye whiskey that delicately integrates the sweet, smoky aromas of a fine cigar.

Buzzard’s Roost Whiskey and the Bourbon Women Foundation are teaming up on an exciting raffle to support women in the industry with education, leadership training and mentorship. 

Buzzard’s Roost Whiskey and Americana singer / songwriter Ryan Necci are excited to announce their collaboration. After being introduced to Buzzard’s Roost Rye by a friend, Necci was taken with the quirky name and the image of the buzzard roosting on a branch on the label. Next thing you know, he’d written a song called “Buzzard’s Roost.”
