Arrest of voting felons strikes a glare over Amendment 4
This is the first major showing of the state's new election investigation office.
DeSantis said many of the felons were disqualified from voting because they were convicted of murder or sexual assault and said “they do not have the right to vote.”
Those arrested could face five years in prison and be fined up to $5,000.
