Poughkeepsie native Dustin Higgs slated to be final Trump execution
A Poughkeepsie native became the 13th and final person to be executed under President Donald Trump early Saturday morning. Dustin Higgs, convicted in the 1996 murders of three women in Maryland, was pronounced dead at 1:23 a.m., just hours after the U.S. Supreme Court lifted a stay issued Wednesday by a federal appeals court.
