Melbourne City Council has fully endorsed the third and final stage of the Woods Bagot-designed Younghusband Wool Store redevelopment.
Designed by Rolex in collaboration with award-winning architecture firm Woods Bagot, the refurbished building houses two floors of custom watchmaking facilities and incorporates a new watchmaking training program, the first of its kind in Australia.
Construction has commenced on Younghusband in Melbourne’s Kensington, regarded as the largest carbon-neutral adaptive reuse precinct in the garden city.
The redevelopment of the 122-year-old Younghusband site in Melbourne’s inner west will be a fringe location with plenty of character outside the CBD.
