Stand Down event provides hundreds of Connecticut veterans access to resources, honor and a meal together

Hundreds of veterans and military members gathered for the VA's annual Stand Down event, held at five locations around the state. The annual event offers services including housing opportunities, legal assistance, employment programs, medical screenings, education programs, personal items, vaccinations and a chance to grab a meal and break bread with fellow veterans.
