Supreme Court Won’t Halt Extradition of US Father, Son Over Ghosn Escape The Supreme Court refused Feb. 13 to halt extradition proceedings against two Americans wanted by Japan for allegedly engineering the escape of former Nissan Motor Co. CEO Carlos Ghosn from that country. Peter M. Taylor, who allegedly helped his father Michael Taylor, a former Green Beret, in the December 2019 crime, argued that a key allegation against him has fizzled.  According to a Dec. 28 court filing in the case, Japanese authorities recently disclosed that Peter Taylor would not necessarily have had to have given Ghosn a key to a hotel room the men used prior to the escape.  The Japanese government had previously alleged that Ghosn would have needed a key Taylor would have given him to ride the elevator to his room the day of the escape.  However, the Japanese government earlier th...
