William B. Worley (Bill), 80, passed away on July, 4 2021 at his home in Santa Anna, TX. Bill was born on February 17, 1941, in Bastrop, LA to Lacy and Dorothy (Cook) Worley. After spending his early childhood in Louisiana, his family moved to Odessa, TX where he attended Ector High School. In 1958, at age 17, Bill joined the United States Marine Corps serving in Marine detachments on the USS Toledo and USS Oriskany. Worley served two tours of duty in Vietnam with the 1 st Battalion, 3 rd Marines. He was a highly decorated combat veteran and awarded the Silver Star, two ...
