Upper Delaware Litter Cleanup getting set

NARROWSBURG, NY - With two weeks to go before the second annual Upper Delaware Litter Sweep, the Upper Delaware Council (UDC) is hoping for the similar consideration from New York Department of Transportation (NyDOT) as they have received from their Pennsylvania counterpart.
The UDC has ready a force of volunteers to seek and seize litter from the highways, byways and river access on both sides of the river in the corridor along the 73.4 mile Upper Delaware Scenic & Recreational River. The litter pickup is scheduled April 17-25.

QUINCY — Adams County Health Department is expanding vaccination registration to Brown, Hancock, Schuyler and Pike counties residents ages 16 to 64 with underlying health conditions.
Through a joint effort with the smaller health departments, the Adams County department will provide vaccinations at Oakley Lindsey Center in Quincy for those with cancer, chronic kidney disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, diabetes, heart conditions, an immunocompromised state from a solid organ transplant, obesity, pregnancy, pulmonary disease and sickle cell disease, as well as those with disabilities.
Those with one of these conditions can register by calling 217-600-4829 or going to adamscountytogether.com/vaccinate.
