United Way of Central Indiana issues grants

INDIANAPOLIS (Inside INdiana Business) United Way of Central Indiana has awarded nearly $2 million in unrestricted grants to 18 human services organizations in Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks and Morgan counties. The United Way says the funding, which is supported by Indianapolis-based Lilly Endowment Inc., will help in the recovery from the pandemic.
UWCI says workgroups made up of community relations staff and county representatives analyzed needs and offered funding recommendations for food, housing, health, transportation, mental health and support for youth and seniors.
