Nottingham stab victim Barnaby Webber made a heartfelt plea this week urging officers to show more compassion after her son's body was described as being 'properly butchered' on WhatsApp.

Emma Webber wrote an open letter to the boss of Nottinghamshire Police force noting that while she did not want to 'shame' or 'vilify' the officers involved she wanted them to be educated.

Police officers posted in a WhatsApp group that the Nottingham attack victims were 'properly butchered' in an appalling remark which spoke about the children like 'slain animals'.
