The Army Corps is warning boaters that Lake Okeechobee discharges are causing turbulence around all Okeechobee Waterway locks across Florida.
Choppy waters out at Lake Okeechobee Monday are impacting the algae at the Port Mayaca Lock, which the DEP said covered as much space as a football field over the weekend.
