Called to an apartment complex on senter road in East San Jose. They were met with gunfire. Officer Michael Johnson was killed. People were evacuated from the area overnight. A Family Member called police to report that the suspects was despondent, intoxicated and might have access to weapons. When officers arrived on the scene they spotted a man on the balcony. Moments later, shots were fired hitting officer johnson. He died at the scene. San jose police say the gunman, 57yearold scott dunham, is dead. Police found his body at about 3 20 this morning.
