The statement came days after owners of some oxygen production plants at Modinagar cited delay in delivery in Delhi as the road is blocked by the protesting farmers. “Let us be very clear, here at Ghazipur, we have not blocked the road. It is still open from our side. We are camping only on roadside and each emergency vehicle is allowed to pass. It is the responsibility of the police to remove the barricades they have put and let the oxygen carrier vehicles enter Delhi,” said Prabal Pratap Shahi, spokesperson, Bharatiya Kisan Union Asali (BKU Asali) and member Samyukt Kisan Morcha.
