The Presidential Election Petition Court on Friday reserved judgment in the petition of the Allied Peoples Movement challenging the conduct of the February 25 elections wherein Bola Tinubu emerged as the elected president.
On Wednesday, President Bola Tinubu hosted some former governors, who were his colleagues, at the council chamber of the presidential villa in Abuja.
The LP candidate had sought leave of the tribunal to overturn the declaration of Mr Oborevwori as the governor.
Bamidele revealed this when he briefed newsmen after his emergence as the Senate Leader of the 10th Senate on Tuesday in Abuja.
Mr Bamidele also said with the leadership of the Senate in place, it will soon screen the service chiefs appointed by President Bola Tinubu on 19 June.
