The possession and use and transportation and growing and cullty expectations. the sales, each county has to come up with their own plan. this is not regulated like alcohol where you have a statewide system. geraldo: judge, you know, they don t as far as i know, call for, you know, urine testing for drivers who are driving swerving down the road, do they, judge? well, i m not sure where that came from, geraldo. but i have been a trial court judge for 25 years here in orange county. geraldo: where it came from is you can test someone for alcohol but you can t test them for pot, say the critics. is that true? that is an inherent problem. although, fortunately science is developing a new test. you can take a swab on the inside of your mouth and determine if you smoked marijuana in the last four hours and that is a good thing. one way or another that is really irrelevant to prop 19. that is the case whether prop 19 passes or not. ....

Medical marijuana students actually come in to learn how to grow pot. but i wanted to bring you in here to show you an example of how much pot you would be able to grow legally under proposition 19 if it were passed. this is a 5 by 5-foot plot that is 25 square feet of marijuana and you would be able to grow that for personal consumption. now, you can t sell it. it is illegal to sell. but that is a personal consumption and you would be able to walk around i suppose with about an ounce of pot on you. but in terms of selling it, that is a whole different scene. you are saying that under this would be similar to prohibition if it is legalize the, correct? indeed. and we recognize that prohibition has failed since through prop 19 we can take cannabis out of the hands of criminal and take control and put it into a regulated market. so the laws will change ....
