Going in or it is yet to be determined? i don t think occupy will ever be putting up candidates for election. it s not about that. while many people who are part of the occupy movement would accept that. it is a leaderless movement, it is quite hostile to conventional politics. a, there s a protest element to it, but, b, there s a growing element that i think we ll see emerge over the coming months and years of people using the platform to do thing, set up new systems. this is not about getting people elected to a system that most people in occupy view as fundamentally corrupted. is there any historical analog that sort of makes your case? i don t think there is, because i think we re in an unprecedented situation. i think the examples of political revolution that we have in front of us and the past are not exactly right. whether freedom from colonialism or segregation or the emancipation of women, these were singular objectives about liberating people from a particular form of o ....
