1,029 allottees get provisional plots in G-14/2 and 3

Islamabad: The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) has provisionally handed over as many as 1,029 plots of different categories to the allottees of sub-sectors G-14/2 and 3. The FGEHA had given around 354 plots in G-14/2 and 649 plots in G-14/3 of different categories, official sources in the Ministry of Housing and Works told this agency.
They said over 60 allottees had taken final possession letters and 17 allottees had applied for issuance of no objection certificate for the approval of building plans.
The sources said more than 10 allottees had started construction of houses in sub-sectors G-14/2 and G-14/3. The Housing Scheme Phase-IV of the FGEHA was launched in 2004 in sub-sectors G-14/1, 2 and 3 Islamabad. About 4,820 kanals of land was acquired through land acquisition collection under the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 in March, 2004, they added. . ....

The Board of Directors of Hexagon Composites ASA ( Hexagon Composites or the Company ) has resolved to provisionally award up to 1 734 990 Performance Share Units ( PSUs ) to executives.
The PSU allocation is in accordance with the Board of Director s compensation policy for the senior executive management. This policy is described in Declaration to the Annual General Meeting of Hexagon Composites ASA concerning determination of Salary and other remuneration to the CEO and other Management , which was presented for shareholder approval at the Annual General Meeting on 28 April 2021 (the AGM ). The PSUs are non-transferable and will vest on 28 February 2024 subject to satisfaction of the applicable vesting conditions. ....

Conditions prescribed by the statute for a valid exercise of the power must be strictly fulfilled, says SC
The Supreme Court on Tuesday came down hard on the GST (Goods & Services Tax) Department by terming the provisional attachment under GST law as ‘draconian’.
“The power to order a provisional attachment of the property of the taxable person including a bank account is draconian in nature and the conditions which are prescribed by the statute for a valid exercise of the power must be strictly fulfilled,” a division bench of justices Dhananjaya Y Chandrachud and MR Shah said in its ruling while setting aside the orders of provisional attachment dated October 28, 2020 in the matter of Radha Krishan Industries. ....
