PS5 stock could become available to buy once again at a variety of top retailers soon. GAME, Currys, Argos, Very and Amazon UK are all tipped to get a PS5 restock during the week beginning March 1. And the GAME PS5 restock is rumoured to be the retailer's biggest stock drop so far, while Currys are also tipped to have a "huge" amount of PlayStation 5 stock to sell.

PS5 UK stock news: March will have 'biggest' PlayStation 5 restock

As more and more PS5 stock has come into the market the resale value of the PS5 is - thankfully - starting to come down which should help to deter scalping.
And in a big boost to PS5 fans that are yet to secure a console it looks like March could be the best time to purchase a PS5 so far.
According to the PS5 Instant Updates stock tracker account, March will mark the "biggest" PS5 restock yet for "all retailers" in the UK.
Earlier this week the account tweeted: "March restock will be the biggest yet for all retailers."

PS5 stock update: Double dose of good PlayStation 5 UK restock news

According to @PS5Instant, the first PS5 drop for Amazon, Argos, Currys and Very will happen during the first week in March.
While the second PS5 restock at these same retailers will happen during the final week of next month.
The @PS5Instant Twitter account posted: "March is going to huge for PS5 stock. We're expecting two major shipments to big retailers. Amazon, Argos, Currys and Very are dropping first week March and end of March! Don't give in to the scalpers, we're so close!"
This is a double dose of good news for PS5 stock hunters, and means there should be at least two weeks in the month where they will have opportunities to pick up a PS5 at major retailers.

GAME PS5 stock: When is the next PlayStation 5 UK restock at GAME?

This latest PS5 restock rumour comes courtesy of the @PS5StockAlertUK stock tracker Twitter account.
Earlier today the PS5 Stock UK Twitter claimed the next GAME PS5 restock could be going live on Tuesday February 23.
The @PS5StockAlertUK Twitter posted: "News: GAME UK is set to go live with a PS5 drop this Tuesday 23rd February.
"This alone and the Smyths Toys drop explain that retailers have received or are receiving new shipments already.
"Let the late February/early March restock season begin!"

In terms of the time GAME stock could be going live that day, according to @GamerMonkey_ GAME typically releases stock at 9am UK time.

If we are getting restocks at all of these UK retailers next week then there could be plenty of opportunities to pick up a PS5 in the coming days for gamers in Blighty.
The @PS5Instant Twitter isn't the only PS5 stock tracker account who has been tweeting about inbound stock drops.
The @PS5StockAlertUK Twitter account, who previously said February would be a "big" month for the PS5, has been tweeting about the next PS5 Argos restock.
And the account, who in the past shared alleged leaked information from Argos insiders, also said the next Argos PS5 restock would be week beginning Monday February 15.

PS5 UK stock update: Argos, Currys and Amazon restocks coming 'this month' after GAME drop

The account tweeted: "If you didn't manage to get one, don't worry, this was the start of Mid-February drops, Currys, Argos, Amazon Very and more still to drop, alongside more GAME drops soon."
Elsewhere, another PS5 stock tracker account has claimed that the next Argos PS5 restock could be going live as early as next week.
This news comes courtesy of the @PS5StockAlertUK, who has previously posted information from alleged Argos insiders.
The account tweeted: "Argos will go live next week rather than the week after. For now, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday are possible days for release. I will announce an exact date when possible in a few days. Thank you."

The Amazon customer service worker allegedly said the PS5 would be back in stock by the week beginning February 1.
When asked when the PS5 could be back in stock at Amazon UK the rep reportedly said: "We are expecting this in stock by Feb 1st week".
The @PS5StockAlertUK Twitter did - interestingly - add that some retailers may end up taking orders before they receive their shipment of stock.
This weekend the PS5 Stock UK Twitter account posted: "Huge week ahead of us. Potential drops by John Lewis, Argos, GAME UK, Smyths Toys, Hughes, BT/EE & Curry’s PC World seem possible.

PS5 in the UK: PlayStation 5 restock efforts continue following 2020 sales success

“The winner of the year was Nintendo Switch, which was the best-selling games console in the UK for 11 of the 12 months in 2020. Switch sales are up 52.2% last year compared with 2019, which offset the 35.3% drop for PS4 and the 42.3% drop for Xbox One.
“The second best-selling console of 2020 was the PlayStation 5, despite only being on sale since mid-November (and with Sony struggling to supply the demand). The PS5 very narrowly outsold the PS4, which is in third position.”
Other analysts have also shared their own data on the situation, with Benji Sales sharing on Twitter:
“Despite a global record debut PlayStation 5 is now actually selling slower than PS4 did launch aligned in multiple markets (for example both Japan and UK).
