Chance to explore Te Araroa trail The Auckland Te Araroa Trust will host a First Steps Te Araroa walk through Rodney on Sunday, April 11. Trust chairman Clayton Wakefield says a lot of people don’t know that the 3000km walking trail from Cape Reinga to Bluff passes through Rodney. “This is an amazing chance to experience walking a section of the trail, meet fellow walkers and learn about our special part of Te Araroa,” he says. “People of all ages and abilities can enjoy a morning walk – ticking off their first segment of one of the best trails in the world.”
