For more than 11 years, the Western Illinois University Office of Student Engagement's (OSE) "Purple Post" site has served as the premier resource for WIU students looking to get involved. Beginning July 1, 2022, the Purple Post will transition to a new format, the Leatherneck Link, which will provide even easier access and opportunities for students to make the most of their WIU experience.

MACOMB, Ill. - On the day of celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Western Illinois Athletics and the WIU Multicultural Center proudly announced Tammie Brown-Edwards and DeShon Gavin as the first recipients of the MLK Scholarship.
