Tottenham have been hit with a season-ending injury to winger Ivan Perisic ahead of this weekend’s North London derby.

Rodrigo Bentancur today joined his Tottenham team-mates in their warm-up routines ahead of training as the midfielder took the next step towards his return to action. The Uruguay international has not played since rupturing the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee in February and remains on course for a return in November, as manager Ange Postecoglou recently outlined. Bentancur has not yet returned to training with Spurs, but took part in a few warm-up drills on Thursday alongside the likes of Cristian Romero and Emerson Royal before returning to individual work.

Tottenham striker Richarlison has revealed he will seek out the help of a psychologist to turn his form around. The Brazilian joined Spurs last summer from Everton for £60million, but has scored just one Premier League goal since. Richarlison has also found goals hard to come by for Brazil too, failing to score in four games in 2023.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is "not available" to take control of Germany because of his "long-term contract" at Anfield, according to his agent.
