TREES, PLEASE Sheryl Kay Peckins, president of the East Springfield Junior Women’s Club, recently visited the Jefferson Soil and Water Conservation District office at 500 Market St., Mezzanine, Suite 4, Steubenville, to pick up order forms for the Ohio native tree sale under way through April 23 in addition to information about Quaker Ridge Arboretum and Nature Trails to distribute at a future meeting. The club plans to order trees and shrubs to plant in the community as part of its mission of promoting conservation and caring for the environment.
