Poll finds half of American wants Trump conviction/74% say social media sites should be held accountable for disinformation


QUINNIPIAC POLL – According to a Quinnipac University National Poll, fifty percent of Americans say the Senate should convict former President Trump in his upcoming impeachment trial and a74% of people polled say social media sites should be held accountable for spreading disinformation.
With less than a week before the U.S. Senate is set to begin its impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump on charges he incited the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol on January 6th, half of Americans say the Senate should convict Trump and 45 percent say the Senate should not convict him, according to a Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University national poll of 1,075 adults released Thursday. ....
