From the olden times to the present day, much has changed, but Chawk Bazar continues to be one of the commercial hubs of the capital.
The Mehrauli Archaeological Park, adjacent to Qutub Minar, houses 54 historical ruins and monuments in the 199-acre park.

Thrown open by Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena, the park is dotted by several famous historical sites in and around it like the Jamali Kamali Mosque, Qila Rai Pithora, the tomb of Mohd Quli Khan, and adjacent Qutub Minar.
