Zimbabwe will cull 200 elephants as it faces severe drought leading to food shortages. The meat from these elephants will be distributed to people struggling to feed themselves. Neighbouring namibia also carried out a Wildlife Cull last month due because of the drought. Zimbabwe is home to an estimated 100,000 elephants the second largest population in the world after botswana. Zimbabwes last cull was more than 35 years ago.
