ISLAMABAD: Sikandar Sultan Raja was the Chief Secretary of Azad Jammu & Kashmir when general elections were held there in 2016. Mian Nawaz Sharif was Prime Minister of Pakistan. Some of his cabinet members were stopped at Kohala Bridge as they were about to enter AJK for the election campaign. They were in the official vehicles and the use of them was in the contravention of election code.
The CS said they couldn’t use these cars inside AJK during elections and finally he prevailed. Nobody reacted probably because the ministers knew him well and more so because they didn’t have a good experience during the elections of Gilgit-Baltistan in 2015. Continuous & Concurrent Updation of Govt Websites

AFTER issuance of a circular by the General Administration Department (GAD) on 29.1.2021, a Government order was issued recently wherein a committee was constituted for continuous and concurrent updation of official websites. Vide Government order No: 148-JK (GAD) of 2021 dated: 13.02.2021 the Government accorded a sanction for constitution of a three member committee headed by the Secretary to Government Information Technology (IT) Department. State Informatics Officer (SIO) of National Informatics Center (NIC) J & K and a representative from J & K e-Governance agency to be nominated by Secretary IT Department are the two other members of the committee. The aim of constituting the committee is to continuously supervise the updation of official websites of Govt departments and districts in Union Territory of J & K. ....

6 men steal construction materials, arrested | Coimbatore News

COIMBATORE: Police on Monday arrested six men for stealing construction material on Trichy Road in the city.
According to the Ramanthapuram police, the six accused were identified as Kabarkhan, 33, from Kottaipudur; A Sharukhan, 23, from Podanur; M Abdul Kadar alias Rohit, 28, from Kottaipudur; B Peer Mohammad, 23, from Ukkadam; S Mohammed Thariq, 20, from Kottaimedu; and M Balamurugan, 20, from Pullukadu near Ukkadam.
They were arrested based on a complaint filed by the public relations officer of KNR Constructions Limited, A Raja, on Sunday.
In his complaint, Raja said his company was involved in constructing a flyover on Trichy Road. He said construction materials worth Rs 40,000 were stolen from the construction site. ....
