More than a pound of ecstasy partly headed to Chester County seized at airport

PHILADELPHIA — U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers in Philadelphia discovered more than one pound of ecstasy in three international parcels on April 10.
CBP officers discovered the pills in three shipments that arrived from separate addresses in The Netherlands. A field test of the pills proved positive for the properties of 3,4-Methylenedioxymethamphatemine, commonly known as ecstasy or molly. The three shipments weighed a combined 565.2 grams or one pound, 4 ounces.
The shipments were destined to addresses in Crawford and Chester Counties in Pennsylvania and to Hillsborough County, Fla.
CBP officers seized the ecstasy. Investigations continue.

“Customs and Border Protection officers remain steadfast in our commitment to intercepting illicit and dangerous drugs that are shipped to the United States in a multitude of ways, including in express international parcels, before they can hurt our families and our communities,” said Keith Fleming, acting director of field operations for CBP’s Baltimore Field Office.

After the European Parliament brags the coordinator gave a half stars said he wasn t convinced the plan would work women who say the government s decision to raise their state pension age is discriminatory have lost their case at the High Court to claimants who were born in the 1950 s. Had argued that millions of women approaching retirement have been given insufficient time to prepare for the changes. A rogue builder who conned vulnerable householders out of more than 50000 pounds has been jailed for 3 years Liverpool Crown Court heard that the victims some of whom lost all their life savings were left devastated and distrustful report Stuart McGrath cynically told one customer we re not a firm that rips off pensioners like you see on the telly but that s exactly what he was in a 2 year period he ripped off 14 victims including some from Liverpool and since Helen s The work was either done badly late in part or not done at all that you know your old McGrath from Wigan pleaded guilty to 2 offenses of carrying out a business for a fraudulent purpose his business partner 60 year old William Green all from has been since and Helen s who admitted one of the 2 charges received a suspended sentence and was ordered to carry out 140 hours unpaid work senior judges in Belfast to rule that Northern Ireland abortion laws breach the U.K. s human rights commitments the legislation was challenged by Sarah Ewart who was denied a term a nation in 2013 despite doctors saying her unborn child would die shortly after birth she welcomed the decision it s actually I mean because when I look no I back it 6 years ago we were at a very different place and I felt like I was being like single byte you know I was part of the u.k. I wasn t having to see him right as everybody else if I had lived in England I would have been taken care of in my hospital but no I was actually going to get help here yeah. And as you ve been hearing competitors in the Wales rugby of left Liverpool spearhead after the ceremonial start the 1st time the event visited the city because of having to Alton park in Cheshire for the Knights 1st stage of the 4 day rally it s a 12 round of a closely Ford World Championship and said Marshall is co-driver calling up the road to Chris weeks in their Toyota and he s happy to be on home soil is especially nice to be competing in of the this 14 round the world championship and coming back home I grew up sort of not too far from here in Leeds and started my career on the stage is in Wales so it s. It s always special to compete on the home event and yeah you get a nice little birds sing sing all the support from the fans on hearing the start of a call and of course on the stage is the rest of the sports news tonight Evans Fabi indels been handed a recall to the England squad for the games against the Czech Republic and Bulgaria Jordan pick with their Michael King keep their places along with Liverpool s Trent Alexander Arnold Joe Gomez and Jordan Henderson but there s no place for Alex Oxley Chamberlain Catarina Johnson Thompson is currently competing in the long jump at the world after his championships in Delhi she goes in the event leading the heptathlon later she ll compete in the javelin more sport at half past 5 and finally a couple from West Darby in Liverpool whose dream wedding in the United States was nearly ruined by the collapse of Thomas Cook and it up being serenaded by a mystery celebrity entertainment reporter Lisa Mazembe are takes up the story and wait just a minute Sharon Cooke had been planning their wedding for months the couple along with 16 of their friends have made a group booking with Thomas Cook It s a flight to Las Vegas for the ceremony before the company collapsed last month their wedding was saved when the venue Caesar s Palace stepped in and arranged flights with a different airline and the famous casino had one last shock for the couple. Well a nice story and the weather this evening and to not be mostly cloudy and wet with outbreaks of rain some rather heavy temperatures down to 10 Celsius a wet start tomorrow with a few brightest bulbs possible later and I have 16 b.b.c. Radio Merseyside news. B.b.c. Radio as he s going to. Thank you Mark Still to come between now and 6 o clock we live in little pools waterfront as the city s been hosting the start of the Wales rally g.b. For the 1st time that currently dismantling the stage in front of me as they speak because all the cars have now gone off to Walton Paul Cole So this woman affected by the rise in the state pension age have lost their high court case against the government we ll get reaction from a Liverpool campaign it s about. Drive time b.b.c. Radio Reza Sayah. Wow Wow. Wow. Wow Wow thank you. Radio Merseyside Ok Thursdays been going Ok you with Solti on drive time through till 6 o clock and we ll live here for the British leg of the $29000.00 World Rally Championship which is now well and truly underway they ve done the ceremonial start if you if you like about Sol that describing it to the rear of the 3 Graces that the pair had the flags are still fluttering away in the wind at the moment all the while fly we ve got the f.i.f.a. Flag and also the motor sport u.k. Flag flying high above the stage which is currently being dismantled as we speak almost 60 cars have now made their way down that ramp. During that grand depart and they re now on their way to Alton park where the action for real begins later on are quite a quick turnaround so what does it take to put on an event like this will Andy McNichol is the city center events manager out culture Liverpool spent a great success this season and yes been there and he s an absolute force who go. Who would be even better that how many people conducting really really well supported and here s a people now because obviously kids are at school but a lot of people being doubted they even out a few hungover suspects as we wander around to see what s going on here and it drains expects and this has been quite nice of the cruise liner and as well so as are the 2 on the base and I think so hello bit different to the locals who calendars and like I ve already said this afternoon it s the perfect drop back drop isn t it when you think you ve got. The 3 graces that you ve got the mercy just behind us it s a market that was not the black. Cruise line of Verizon the cruise terminal is that is that one of the reasons why they chose this for the start you think yeah we saw us a conversation with and then if we had the Red Bull drifts of that last year and they came down to see that and then I said Would you be interested in hosting sort of his part of the rally championships this year we said of course we were always open see where people bring in the event still of course a great thing to do it and a conversation started from there we re talking to the pair had talking to a few of the locations across the city and the scene is so the pair had to follow all over the ice and said This is where we need to be and of really push hard and I see us we ve been working obviously with Wales who are really great about having the start House side of the 1st time since 1991 sees a bit of politics around that but they said no no completely gas and it s obvious he s lost energy between well as a live report and they see is very much working in partnership together and when we came down here just when we were going on our what it was all started I was looking down there you know past where the Museum of Liverpool is down but for those people all the way down there has the turnout when you say exceeded expectation Yeah I think so skinny because in not that that s where they re in it to run away or can they We ve got a few 1000 people down here say we should really go through an event like this fair here and I think there s a few diehard fans in there as well which has really gotten it made the effort to travel away too little for think few of them rough down wholesome parks and ice and going off to Wales for rest week and that s what I think you were actually the other side to live the building when the cars were making their way around we re on Water Street right now what was the spectacle like around all the people come out of the offices and people hang around by the traffic island site so you could really get close and take pictures now some of the great things about really is how close you can get to the sport in those basically your rights and stuff you can see the faces of the drivers and be so close to the cars it s been it s been quite a year for Liverpool really hasn t it from a from a sporting point of view when you look at obviously there s this when we have the netball will cope here as well didn t we cycling. Is this. Been a golden year if you like it has never been fond of all the aspects is what is going on this I wasn t going to mention not people accuse me of going on about how I wasn t going to mention it. Taking their life bias away it s been amazing all different this is consistency even I just I see no light there it s all space fans they wander around the city and that and that was amazing having this the fun park park that was really go see all the teams playing netball we ve all let the kids on the park and stuff and it s so far that it shows that we are an aspirational says he wants to bring these type of votes to the city to change perceptions and to make sure we are consider like a destination city you ve got to keep thinking of ways to outdo it there are many of us that s the problem what we ve got Next up your sleeve. Could possible if there were some really exciting things happening next year we re looking at a program now with loss of conversation last different people not all of them always come off very but we should have a really exciting year next year so the turnaround of this event is quite amazing isn t it Peter our engineer came down very early on to stop and he said there was nothing there and then we came down and there s a stage and there s the ramp and there s a viewing area and all our kind of thing and it s virtually all gone and now we have 7 this morning it s really quick sat so these guys are amazing their. Credit for that but they have to then move this off his like 6 of the news across the whole stage the rally so they ve got to now move this on to next day so you have some of the. Infrastructure to use on all the events so it s really impressive operation that we put together would you would you be hoping you might be able to get it back here again so yeah we ve had some conversations I ve been really pleased house concert there as well so where fingers crossed we can do something with and next year you know I don t know how long it was probably a couple years ago I remember a story about Liverpool trying to get formula one here I mean it s sounds amazing the idea is the ready chance where we ought to have are we speaking to a few people about what we are so we can do in terms of from the. Sports the sport that kind of thing we are there s lots of different options in terms what we could do. It s just making sure the right fits the city right logistics in terms of how it fits in with the recipe of structure says quote We are in conversations with people just have to get out of the potholes on the Dock Road as nowhere any. Clearly are driven down the 1st off thank you very much on the great event. Let s get the latest weather now. Your music your stories your life b.b.c. Radio Maisie. And I don t know what it s like where you are wine but it s quite wet here at the pier how we long for tonight and tomorrow yet will more of a to come I m afraid Paula we do have an area of low pressure moving towards us under this contains the remnants of x. Hurricane Lorenzo Now this has been trending on social media lots of the papers have been enjoying writing about it as well and yes although it will bring a spell of wet and windy weather overnight it does move on through quickly enough but that said very unsettled conditions at times and as we head through the next couple of hours as this system moves in as Paul said it s already started to rain in many places already and we will see further spells of rain overnight the winds also a feature but this system is bringing in much milder air so it won t be as cold tonight with lows of 10 Celsius Ok tomorrow morning then a cloudy start with some spray on roads that low pressure continues to drag itself away from us and then we see things improving it ll be a wet and windy start for some of us but the winds will ease the rain will clear brightening up as we head through the day with highs of 17 or 18 Celsius a little ridge of high pressure then starts to build Saturday the best day of the weekend 20 wet and windy later on a less settled day on Sunday but the focused. B.b.c. Radio and I travel. A lot see other roads shaping up then his Steve Lord. Still busy on the strands of course without actually sort of Over There are reporting birds are so. On the sole down to one line currently and scores the traffic itself for the rally cars making their way across to Alton park across the city for that event which is taking place tonight. About 530 elsewhere actually in eastbound heavy traffic congestion back as far as the hospital and the road works both directions on Dobby road again that was Miller s bridge is very heavy and also Wallsten southbound in Queens Drive We got heavy traffic down toward the whole avenue you are all parked northbound the Walter Vale again heavy traffic down towards the Windsor traffic lights and over in both directions going to Brown s road is closed. Road and the green hypothesis. Which offers coping very well I m reminded at Rufford as well both directions on the a 59 loop a road is blocked due to the accident about an hour ago cross the road which is coping quite well at this moment time will get him out on public transport because he s 20 problems please call it safe and legal to do so and I won 57140953 I m Steve law for b.b.c. Around the world because this is a big event every. Ship after all so it s great. You know these t.v. Companies are coming down to broadcast Liverpool and show Liverpool in a God Light as well looking down the pit head to the Mercy ferry terminal and to my right is the Snowdrop one of them as he ferries just picking up another round of passengers to head back over to where all I will that be having more information about this event before we leave you at 6 o clock but in the meantime let s get some more of the day s news and campaigners who claim the government discriminated against them and its handling of the rise in the state pension for women have lost their case the High Court said it couldn t rule on policy choices that were made by ministers while women born in the 1950 s. Argued that the increase was unfair because they weren t given enough time to adjust to extra years without a state pension or Barbara Allen is from West RB and part of the Liverpool waspy campaign has women against state pension inequality and she was in London to hear the result and asked for her reaction Well there was total silence when we heard from inside the court because she was made literally within about 2 or 3 minutes of the call complaining and we were just completely shocked because the message we got was case dismissed and we didn t understand what that meant so there was complete silence and obviously lost 3 member crying and then after a few minutes some people who ve been in the cold came out women who d been in to actually listen to what they said was being dismissed because it s just something about being decided it wasn t going to pull the actual case that was brought to specific women and general consensus is that it s not. The government didn t. An obligation to tell women that the pension age was going not. The main point the case rested on so something about being referred to the government and the government telling the churches it wasn t a legal case so they couldn t decide obviously the barrister hasn t yet had back to us and they fish statements on time out on the court transcripts on time but as far as all the campaigning groups. We ve taken you pay out back to $60.00 waspy campaign to the loads of $950.00 s. Women s groups. A far as we re all concerned we ve failed but it s a real injustice still it s a major ceased to continue we feel very bad for the women who were really. Hoping for a successful result today but we do know that it s haven t been dismissed with the idea that we call a tail a bring them of the case. As far as we know right now this isn t a definite because we have to have the actual spelled out to us we actually think it s a possibility that it s just the way this particular case is bolstered it couldn t be ruled on because it wasn t a point of law so obviously the powers that will be having a look at the to say which is the best way to form the next case where not covering the lies in a summary of the court s decision the judges said there was no direct discrimination on grounds of sex because this legislation does not treat women less favorably the men in lol Are they went on to say actually that by it corrects the historic direct discrimination against men that s what they said well how would you react to that Well my reaction to that most a lot of women who all in my age group known in the 19 $150.00 s. Have experienced huge inequalities in the workplace and in terms of being able to contribute to pension schemes all just even equal pay. It s a known fact that men still well much more than women and they all trying to bring legislation to make more equal than they are trying to have for stations such clarity of wage strip just as a company we know things have not been equal for us and it s a small. From my personal view it s more the fact that. This is a don t post 6000 was taken from a in particular in pension from the age of 60 to 65 and it s money this I relied on money to fight hated told during my. Painful stuff. So in terms of what I ve lost personally and what of the women have lost this has caused a real halt shift there are women who sell the homes some of them twice and downsized and so those now who are now living with relatives rather than their own homes because they re in the point where they call in 20 more forward to to keep themselves so it s a very hard decision on women. And I can t say if they ve actually knowledge that it s to do with making the age equal was tough because humans evolved but really and truly they didn t have to do it in secrecy and they didn t have to do with interest why we didn t find out until one year away seem to be forced. Into a lot of us they just didn t tell us. How do we know we wouldn t have given the career jobs which wouldn t take retirements because of the health we want to found other ways of managing within our jobs and keeping our job because once you ve given a buck or a job you can t do that and go back. It is a very hard decision and the women here today have been very shocked but they are actually very determined to move away to take the special the Colts because we don t think we merely wrong. That s Barbara Allen she was speaking to me earlier on today she s from west of the of course that news broke this morning that they d lost that case against the government she was part of the Liverpool waspy campaign that s women against state pension inequality is b.b.c. Radio Merseyside Let s get the latest news headlines. For French police officers have been killed by a man armed with a knife with their headquarters in central Paris a union spokesman said the attack a member of staff was shot dead there s been a mixed reaction to Boris Johnson s latest brags of proposals out there he presented them to M.P. s The Labor leader Jeremy Corbin called them a rehash version of previously rejected ideas a rogue builder who conned vulnerable household result of more than $50000.00 pounds has been jailed for 3 years Liverpool Crown Court heard the victims some of whom have lost all their life savings were left devastated and distrustful by Stuart McGrath deceit and Rod Stewart surprised the Liverpool couple who thought their dream wedding in Las Vegas had been ruined following the collapse of Thomas Cook and to his son and Sharon could plan to take a party of close friends out to the ceremony but the wedding venue Caesar s Palace stepped in and the range for Rod his performing at the hotel to cerate serenade the couple at the altar That s it for now I ll be back with a bullet in at 6. B.b.c. Radio and I side travel. Let s see how the roads are looking as we enter rush hour on a Thursday here Steve Lord. Thank you salty looking very busy course on the strand still with the rally just of course finishing with the cars going off earlier on to also park as a strong story down to one lane currently so still very busy looking at the speed sensors the place to avoid to happen if you can is the Strand after coming out of their horses while Queens Drive southbound also very busy as well Walton by walls and hole ave you are southbound in brutal Darby road also very well South Park by. Miller s Bridge Park North found that while some veils also busy as you go towards the winds a light traffic lights over in their scam a stale agony Brown s road has been closed in both directions between the Glebe Road and green hay Palace place at the same parcel time place basically due to an axe in from a trap is coming quite well in the surrounding areas and if you re over in rough of this well both directions on the a 51 loop of road is blocked due to the acts of murder on the spine the cross and road but traffic is coping quite well and 53 northbound from Junction 10 through to junction 6 at Stony through to Hooten is very slow traffic there and also entered the 8 eastbound and towards am 6 that s an interchange also very busy as well looking about good at most on public transport problems and please call them safe illegals do so and they won 517140953 I m Steve law 3 was the Radio Merseyside travel. I write it s time for sport then we ve got a big medal hopes for a Merseyside athlete at the World Athletics Championship without the rest of the sport is James mount 30 thank you Salter will start with events in Doha and Catarina Johnson Thompson s extended her lead in the south along the Liverpool athletes jump 6 metres $77.00 in the long jump it s the biggest jump of the competition and the defending champion in 2nd place now feats of Belgium could only manage $640.00 so that gives Catarina a lead of more than $200.00 points heading in the into the pun ultimate event which is the javelin that cuts a new way just after 6 in football Everton s fabby indels been handed a recall to the England squad for the games against the Czech Republic and Bulgaria Jordan pick for the Michael King keep their places with Liverpool s trans Alexander Arnold Joe Gomez and Jordan Henderson but no place for Alex Chamberlain Here s our south gate talking about Chamberlain 1st of all family and Elf as a more defensive minded midfield player he s settled really well ever to. I think he s had a big impact on their team I ve had a chat with Alex this morning really last month we brought him back earlier than he probably would have been in a squad he s only had a couple of games so it s a little bit like Delhi really where the season hasn t quite got going for either of them Chelsea defender for carrier to morrow has been handed a 1st England call up and his Chelsea teammate Tommy Abraham also returns to the squad. Everton have Theo Walcott and Andre Gomes a vailable for Saturday s trip to Burnley Walcott suffered a head injury in the defeat to Manchester City Gomez s missed the last month with a rib injury Virgil van Dyke says Liverpool need to relax and not panic after last night s scare against Salzburg in the Champions League Leicester City and Brendan Rodgers arrived on Saturday in the league and the former manager will be returning to on field for the 1st time since his departure back in 2015 and yet in club says his side will need to be a lot better job will be similar in the onset of day and we have only 3 days to recover and I m sure Brendan Rodgers things if we protect like we did then probably cherry while there were other problems along with other goalkeepers on the bill and that we have to learn quick Tranmere Rovers will check on defender said Nelson head of Saturday s League one home game against George Ray continues to be sidelined after missing the defeat at Ipswich in the Europa League tonight Paul Park but will miss Manchester United s game against a he said Alkmaar with a foot problem standardly Asian wolves are way up a shit dance talking rugby league in try Time tonight from 6 Steve Roberts and the panel in the studio they will preview the Women s Super League play off between St Helens and Leeds and thought oh haste are gearing up for the National Conference League grand final joint stay from 6 o clock. am. Thank. And if it s 21 minutes to 6 on b.b.c. Radio Merseyside We re live from the pay ahead currently looking out towards the river. To me as we speak is the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company ship. Leon you know these things that you are not. The. Vessel. Is doing a cracking job. Right. Now just about to let all the passengers off we ve also got a lovely cruise ship. In the mood. Mercy ferries come in in an hour all the time as well I tell you I could get into this maritime law car really cold there s a bit of a way to go yet but I mean you know that the 1st steps you want about you don t even know if it s a ship or a boat we go with that s the thing that ll be correct but Ok there is a very good reason why we are down here at the pier head it s been for the start. Braley g.b. Now this is the old r.a.c. Rally your mother from years ago when I was growing up it was known as the hour long bar a see rally I think and they ve had the official launch the ceremonial launch where the causal went off from the pier had the start of 4 o clock and went through to just before 5 o clock there s very little left if I m honest now the stage is just about being completely dismantled because they re all on their way to park later on where they re going to get things started for real if you like but it s been a fantastic afternoon it s currently raining it s been raining most of the show but it s coming down a bit heavier now so we ve got 20 minutes to get even more whites in the meantime one of the drivers I met this afternoon is a guy called Green Smith who it turns out could have had a very different career so goes welcome to Liverpool tell me how did you become ironic car driver tricky question who writes I started off as a footballer I used to play for briefly for Manchester City before I discovered what 4 engines have 4 engines us ally 4 where tires and engine was and then decided that I wanted to take on more sport so I started off with karting and then a couple of years later on T.V. s all around it was enough for me it was the only thing I ever wanted to do so yeah it s gone pretty well since then so I just keep at it and you said that you played for Manchester City was for a long time then was football your your dream really pretty much in it just at the end of my career at the trials and then when I started there and that s when I discovered what. Most sport was and I left pretty quickly because I sighed it was a lot better though think in the short term after my dad agreed with that but it was good to begin with and what kind of thrill when do you get from from driving one of these cars yes it s pretty massive obviously. This progressed so much over the years and I ve seen these new generation to be r.c. Cars the fastest we ve ever seen so we re just giving it flat out and it sometimes unfair natural that we re coming into corners a 120 miles an hour with a tree 2 inches to the right of us as pretty good to do you never meet the guy was a guy. Scared that no it s not just may not be a bit useless at my job if I did you ever think well that was a bit too close every day every stage if you know if you know having their moments you know driving fast enough and it being here in Liverpool today it s taken it out of Wales poses and it s taken it to a big city just in the us a good idea there I think. Of all the places I visit in the world I d probably say the place that has the least. The least awareness of what running is probably the u.k. So for me it s important that we come out of Wales and bring it to it so I kind of the mainland England and maybe even one day head up to Scotland is important to everyone sees because when you see it in Germany quite amazed by especially the debris I see cars so for me it s important. To the stage is mainly based in Wales Why do you think it struggle to break through in the u.k. I mean we re pretty obsessed with for me I want to expose only Yeah we like our circuit racing acquire lots of rallying although it kind of originated here kind of not what Formula One and 2nd race was it was born in England and the in the early 1900 so it kind of grew from there and then running took places in the place by the world by South America mainland Europe it s very big so yeah I think bring your spreading awareness of it and showing one people do see what running is about the change the mind and how does the structure of this all work as a leader the moment you were sort of in the you in the 2nd tier trying to get into the top flight would not be a good description Yeah so this year basically we had a split program with with Ford and. So half of the year would be to be our c 2 and then the other half of the over to be r.c. So I ve made based on mix it up this year and now the priority is to try and try and win the championship so a normal Derby Arsinoe a big boy car anymore so small a car we ve got a job to do I can just hear the thunder rumbling in the background as a driver you going on know that you know we could have some really bad weather on the way. To be honest the worse the weather the better drive so it s. Seems to work pretty well so actually when it starts raining all the more endurance right now as well and just before you go I mean are my a good bill to be a rally car driver could you see a future for me I can drive by the local license of the could you see a future for me when I hit a tree and tell me if you re if you like it or not probably not actually but all the very best in fact for talking to rate. Your music your stories your life b.b.c. Radio Mazie such. A complete thought one he didn t seem that keen on me becoming a rally car driver I mean who would ve thought it was quarter to 6 I d say all the others look at it thrown it down in his eye wind Hi Paul yes indeed more of a to come I m afraid this is an area of low pressure is moving towards us we will see further outbreaks of rain overnight and you just said there you hear the odd rumble of thunder more of that possibly as well now this low pressure contains the remnants of what is now an x. Hurricane and it ll bring unsettled weather overnight with strengthening winds and for the spells of rain but it s also bringing up much milder air so temperatures tonight not as low as the past 2 nights will get down to about 10 Celsius not tomorrow morning we will still see the tail end of that low pressure it ll slowly move away from us and it ll take the strong winds and the outbreaks of rain with it so it s an improving story as we head through the day the winds will ease the rain will clear and things will brighten up through tomorrow afternoon with some sunny spells but the next 12 hours pretty unsettled I think and then looking towards the weekend quickly Saturday is your best day to any wet and windy again on Sunday that s the forecast. Travel. And with the latest on the roads now here s Steve Lord. Thank you salty looking place you still on the Strand the courses the whales are just packing up for so I believe going to be closed until about 6 Well one way is actually opened the rest of it obviously is really busy so very busy traffic there on the strand also busy as well southbound the Walton Queens Drive. And also northbound or park also very busy there as well eastbound lane again veggies congestion as you go through the roadworks or by the hospital. Browns road in both directions as being close to snacks in between Glebe Road and agree have a drink I place very well over my goal am Northway is also a 59 North Why is very basic and was a little softer against most of what s right works and seeing how a West tropics having a normal between link way west and roundabouts through to the asked around about a King Street and mine to the to rough it in both directions up roads close to an accident that s across the road which offers coping quite well and it s also busy on the m 53 as well northbound between junction 6 and junction live northbound through to Hooten The good ones on public transport because one of the problems in a safe illegal to do so on they won 517140953 I m Steve lot of b.b.c. Radio I didn t realize you were on I have sounded like I was answering the phone didn t know it s a human is to 6 we re at the pier head and we re just closing things off really now as they pack away from the launch of the Wales rally g.b. Which has been here launching for the ceremonial start of the race I ve got to be honest with you now and say it is absolutely lashing it down with rain absolutely poured it down by getting drenched as a forklift truck truck is taken the way the rest of the station on how wet all you want to Schuyler want to turn now about 8 and I d say I d say I m all 9 now and we have a little bit of I m still really wrong about the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company vessel that is in front of us here it s still here it was reversed in about 20 minutes ago what you ve done a bit of research on this some of your work you ve spoken to the venerable I m d. Ball and what did he tell you friends you know these things and vessel wasn t wrong and he said fast craft was another phrase that you could use to describe it and he also told me you know these things because of the conditions this is now 11 o clock tonight because it can set sail because things of the conditions have changed the conditions of got a lot worse you can feel the storm coming in can t you the movie is very choppy and visibility has been massively reduced Now obviously it s going to go dark soon but if you just really missed the isn t it I mean since we came down here we ve had a few seasons with that if you had 4 seasons on one thing you know the sun came out at one point and you could feel the heat on your back and now it s the rain has probably set in now it could be quite lively old Parker would have thought so not because obviously that s where all the drivers are off to they ve all left here a while ago and I think they re starting at 0 on park in about an an hour and a quarter or something like that as you know with the driver before the subset that used to this this is kind of probably extra bills for them as much in these types of conditions but so to. Well he was as we were talking and it was rumbling a phone that he was and he was my dope and you saw last what I want you know I love that you bring it on he s like you know I got part of the experience for them as it were just stunned and it just like 3 drips on the roof you can call yourself a drip on the drip. Sorry but people have been asking as well what s happening with this event so obviously today we ve had this we ve had this launch and now has gone off to park where they ve got a whole evening of entertainment planned so if you still have something to do and you fancy having a look at this thing get yourself down that old park will be brilliant at the cruise then had to park too. And then tomorrow the day s activity will be based in the forest of the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales they ve got 9 speed tests either side of a lunchtime return to the service park as well but it s called Wake County forests that they re going to be driving through I mean that is such speed tests sounds like citing doesn t really to be for these types of conditions that I mean. It s. Further afield into North Wales but you know it stays like this for the next couple of because it s over 3 days and it stays like they said Harry Yeah Friday afternoon actually sees the rally return to slate mountain which is located at Slate carven So it s really really picture rescue the kind of environment that they all racing in and then they ve got super Saturday which is apparently the Rileys most demanding day that they ve got 3 epic stages to look forward to that starts in the mountains east of Aberystwyth So if you know if you know Wales quite well you ve been I don t know who a lot of these places that are mentioned in here and how picturesque they are and they ve also got a new street stage at the seafront Colwyn Bay So it s not too far from here people can go down one side and it be a great day although I wouldn t. Be tempted to look too far at all and yet great spectacle mean we don t even see them racing it we just come down the ramp we go you know seeing that so it s actually see them in action would be fantastic it s been it s been a fantastic afternoon down here the waterfront a b.b.c.
