Ayodhya Ram temple: Congress urges Supreme Court to investigate land deal


The Congress has urged the Supreme Court to investigate the land deal in Ayodhya under which a plot was allegedly bought by the Ram Temple Trust for Rs 18.5 crore from buyers who had minutes earlier purchased it for Rs 2 crore.
The Opposition party has also asked for a comprehensive audit of the cash donated by people for the construction of the temple, arguing that Ram symbolises faith and justice and that there can be no bigger sin than committing a fraud using the Lord’s name.

The Sangh parivar ran a door-to-door fund collection drive and gathered around Rs 3,000 crore for a Ram temple in Ayodhya, after the Supreme Court paved the way for the construction of one.

New Delhi [India], June 15 (ANI): The Congress on Monday demanded a Supreme Court-monitored probe into the matter of alleged irregularity in the purchase of land at Ayodhya by the Ram temple trust.
Addressing a virtual press conference, Congress general secretary and party spokesperson Randeep Surjewala on Monday called the alleged irregularity in the purchase of land a "big scam" and said because "the trust was established on the direction of the Supreme Court, the court should take cognisance of the issue and investigate the matter."

అయోధ్యలో రామాలయ నిర్మాణాన్ని జరుపుతున్న రామజన్మభూమి తీర్థ క్షేత్రం కొనుగోలు చేసిన ఒక భూమి విషయంలో రేగిన వివాదం జాతీయ స్థాయిలో ఆసక్తిని కలిగిస్తున్నది. ఆదివారం నాడు సమాజ్ వాదీ పార్టీ, ఆమ్ ఆద్మీ పార్టీల రాష్ట్ర నాయకులు మాత్రమే ఆరోపణలు చేయగా, సోమవారం నాడు కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ కూడా వాటిని అందుకున్నది. పది నిమిషాలలో పదహారున్నర కోట్ల రూపాయల కుంభకోణంగా దీనికి ప్రసిద్ధి కలుగుతున్నది. 
కూల్చివేసిన బాబ్రీ మసీదు స్థలానికి ఆనుకుని ఉన్న స్థలం కాదిది. కాకపోయినా, దేవస్థాన అవసరాల కోసం కొనాలనుకున్నారు. సుమారుగా మూడు ఎకరాలుండే ఆ భూమిని దాని యజమానులైన కుసుమ్ పాఠక్, హరీశ్ పాఠక్ నుంచి ఈ ఏడాది మార్చి 18 నాడు రెండుకోట్లకు ఇద్దరు వ్యక్తులు రవి మోహన్ తివారీ, సుల్తాన్ అన్సారీ కొనుగోలు చేశారు. కొన్న వెంటనే, అంటే పదినిమిషాలలోనే, తివారీ, అన్సారీ నుంచి ఆ భూమిని తీర్థ క్షేత్ర ట్రస్ట్ 16.50 కోట్లకు కొనుగోలు చేసింది. పది నిమిషాలలో భూమి ధర ఎనిమిది రెట్లకు పైగా పెరగడం, ఆ పెరుగుదల ప్రయోజనం కూడా అసలు యజమానికి కాక, మధ్యవర్తులకు అందడం, అక్కడ భూమి ధర ఆ స్థాయిలో లేకపోవడం... ఇవన్నీ అనుమానాస్పదాలు. అన్నిటికి మించి, ట్రస్ట్ దేశవ్యాప్తంగా ప్రజల నుంచి విరాళాలు సేకరించి ఆలయనిర్మాణం చేస్తున్నది. ప్రజాధనాన్ని ఇట్లా అక్రమంగా ఖర్చు చేయడం కానీ, వృథా చేయడం కానీ తగునా, రాముడి పేరుతో రాముడిని, రామభక్తులను మోసగించడం సబబా అన్నవి ప్రతిపక్షాల ప్రశ్నలు. రెండేళ్ల కిందట అయోధ్యపై సుప్రీంకోర్టు తుది నిర్ణయం వచ్చిన తరువాత ఆ ప్రాంతంలో భూముల ధరలు పెరిగాయని, ట్రస్టుకు ఆ భూమిని అమ్మిన మధ్యవర్తులు చాలా కాలం కిందటనే భూయజమాని దగ్గర తక్కువ ధరకు కాంట్రాక్టు కుదుర్చుకున్నారని ట్రస్టు వారు వాదిస్తున్నారు. 
ఇటువంటి లావాదేవీలు దేశంలో చాలా జరుగుతూ ఉంటాయి. భూమి సొంతదారుకు కొంత అడ్వాన్సు ఇచ్చి, తక్కువ ధరకు ఒప్పందాలు కుదుర్చుకోవడం, ధర బాగా పెరిగాక దాన్ని ఆ సొంతదారు సంతకాలతోనే అమ్మేయడం భూవ్యాపారులు చేస్తున్న పనే. దేవాలయాలకు కూడా ఇటువంటి లావాదేవీలు తప్పకపోవడమే విషాదం. రామజన్మభూమి ట్రస్టు ప్రజల నుంచి సుమారు రూ.3200 కోట్ల దాకా విరాళాలు సేకరించింది. ప్రజల భాగస్వామ్యంతో జరిగే ఆలయనిర్మాణంలో అన్ని క్రయవిక్రయాలు పారదర్శకంగా ఉండాలి. మధ్యవర్తులే లాభపడ్డారా, ట్రస్టు బాధ్యులలో ఎవరన్నా కూడా ప్రయోజనం పొందారా అన్న అనుమానం రావడం శ్రేయస్కరం కాదు. 
ఉత్తరప్రదేశ్‌లో ఇటీవల కాలంలో చాలా విశేషాలు జరిగాయి. గోవధ నిషేధ చట్టాన్ని, రాజద్రోహ చట్టాన్ని ఎడాపెడా వాడుతున్నారు, అలహాబాదు హైకోర్టు ప్రభుత్వాన్ని తరచు మందలిస్తున్నది. ప్రభుత్వం వైపు నుంచో, పోలీసుల నుంచో అతిచర్యలు జరగడం, కోర్టులు కల్పించుకుని ఉపశమనం ఇవ్వడం తప్ప, ఆ రాష్ట్రంలో ప్రతిపక్షాలు ఉన్నాయా అన్న అనుమానం ఉండేది. ఇప్పుడు ఈ భూవివాదంలో ప్రతిపక్షాలన్నీ ఉత్సాహంగా మీడియా ముందుకు రావడం విశేషం. ఉత్తరప్రదేశ్‌లో ఎన్నికల ఋతువు ప్రవేశించిందని దాని అర్థం. 
నిజానికి బెంగాల్ ఎన్నికల ఫలితాలు వచ్చిన వెంటనే ఉత్తరప్రదేశ్ ఎన్నికల సంరంభం మొదలయింది. ప్రధానమంత్రి నరేంద్రమోదీ, ముఖ్యమంత్రి యోగి ఆదిత్యనాథ్ కలసి ఆర్‌ఎస్‌ఎస్ నేతలతో సమీక్షా సమావేశంలో పాల్గొన్నారు. యోగిని తొలగిస్తారా, లేక, ఆయన మంత్రివర్గాన్ని పునర్వ్యవస్థీకరిస్తారా, కొత్త పార్టీలతో పొత్తులు పెట్టుకుంటారా వంటి అనేక ప్రశ్నల మధ్య యోగి మోదీని ఈ మధ్య కలిశారు. కొవిడ్ కట్టడిలో తనను ప్రతిష్ఠాత్మక విదేశీ విశ్వవిద్యాలయాలు తమ అధ్యయనాలలో ప్రశంసించాయని చెబుతూ యోగి కొన్ని నివేదికలను ప్రధానికి అందించారు. జాన్ హాప్కిన్స్, హార్వర్డ్ యూనివర్సిటీలు జరిపిన అధ్యయనాలలో ఉత్తరప్రదేశ్‌లో తీసుకున్న కరోనా సంబంధిత నిర్ణయాలను పేర్కొన్నారు తప్ప, ఇతర రాష్ట్రాలతో పోల్చిచెప్పడం కానీ, ర్యాంకింగ్ ఇచ్చి ప్రశంసించడం కానీ చేయలేదని ప్రపంచం కోడై కూస్తోంది. అయినా, మోదీ తరఫున కష్టపడి పనిచేసే సామాజిక మాధ్యమాల కార్యకర్తలు ఉత్తరప్రదేశ్ ప్రభుత్వ ఘనతను విపరీతంగా ప్రచారంలో పెట్టారు. ఇదంతా కూడా రానున్న ఎన్నికలను దృష్టిలో పెట్టుకునే జరుగుతోంది. తన సమర్థతను ప్రధానమంత్రి గమనించి, ఉత్తరప్రదేశ్ ఎన్నికల సమరానికి తననే సారథిగా చేయాలని యోగి ఆశిస్తున్నారు. యోగి పనితీరుపై ప్రజలలో ఉన్న అభిప్రాయాల గురించి ప్రధానమంత్రి దగ్గర గూఢచారి నివేదికలు, ఇతర సమాచారం ఉన్నది. యోగి ప్రతిష్ఠ మీదనే యుపి ఎన్నికలకు వెడితే, కొవిడ్ నిర్వహణ వల్ల ఇప్పటికే ఏర్పడిన ప్రతికూల జనాభిప్రాయం కారణంగా రాష్ట్రం చేజారుతుందేమోనన్నది మోదీ-–షా ఆందోళన. అట్లా కాక, మోదీయే కీలక ప్రచారకుడిగా యుపి బరిలోకి దిగితే, బెంగాల్ అనుభవమే పునరావృతమైతే, ప్రధాని ప్రతిష్ఠకు అది పెద్ద దెబ్బ. 
రామాలయ నిర్మాణం అన్నది నరేంద్రమోదీకి, యోగి ఆదిత్యనాథ్‌కు కీలకమయిన సానుకూలాంశం. ఆ నిర్మాణంలోనే అవకతవకలు జరిగితే భక్తుల విశ్వాసం దెబ్బతింటుంది. ప్రతిపక్షాలు అయోధ్య భూమి కొనుగోలు విషయంలో ఇంతగా రచ్చ చేయడానికి కారణం, కుంభస్థలం మీద గురిపెట్టగలమన్న ధైర్యం సమకూరుతుండడమే కావచ్చు.
