As we speak over Zoom, Tom Bateman, the 31-year-old Oxfordshire-born star of Netflix's
Behind Her Eyes, is sitting in a makeshift recording studio in his London home, which he may or may not share with Daisy Ridley, who is believed to be his fiancée (he does not confirm or deny this, but the tabloid press have done their damnedest). He built it last year, sticking foam sound absorbers to the walls in the smallest room in his house with Gorilla Glue.
