Bigger than it was last year. Reporter Fairfax County battalion chief helps distribute some 2,500 coats every october. But this year the need surged. With the help of local businesses, they gathered another thousand or so. Just ahead of the frigid plunge in temperatures. We try to have our Fire Fighters, even give our Police Officers coats to place in their vehicles in case they see someone that might need a coat.
