In places that are already saturated. now let me get you to some gauges here. this is the alarming risk of what we re seeing in north carolina. this is the cape fear river near fayetteville, it was down here at 15 on friday, now it s up to 62 feet high, forecast chest at 61.5, we will round it up. for the whack mau river at conway going to 19 feet from 8, well over record stage, but that doesn t happen until sunday. these record rainfalls in these still coming downhill will still create more flooding. here is the northeast cape fear river, the gauge broke at 24 because that was the upper limit. no one ever thought that we would ever get higher than that. now we have no idea. we have no idea where this river is at this point. let me get to something else that s alarming. there s 1,100 road closures. if you say to somebody at work today nothing happened in this hurricane, tell that to these people who have 1,100 roads they can t drive on and waters in some places are still rising. ....

Manchester. water levels down here at 10 feet. take a look at this. by tomorrow afternoon, up to 35 feet. so we are going to watch the water rise up around 25 feet by the time we get towards, say, tomorrow night. and it stays at that record stage for a number of days. go towards the northeast cape fear river, same story. by the time we get towards sunday afternoon, we see this water rise by about 20 feet. and it goes and it stays at that high level. pete: what is that thing in the middle? is that record? rick: these are different levels. if you live in this area they know action stage this street will flood. if you go to minor stage this next street floods and so on. but you go to major, so this one you are looking at right there, major flooding is at 16 feet for the place right there in and then did you go up higher the record they have ever had was 23.5. expected to be at 25.8. over record stage starting tomorrow afternoon and ....

Circulation. there s the flash flood emergency. flash flood emergency, you hear flash flood warnings. that means flash flooding is imminent. when you hear flash flood emergency, that means it s happening and lives are at stake. this is from charleston to savannah. we re waiting to see how high the high tides get. here are the river gauges. it s not just the st. john s river. there are little rivers here in record stage. there s more suffering than just in this little red strip. we re focusing on that because that s the biggest body of water and also goes through one of florida s biggest cities in downtown jacksonville. that water in downtown jacksonville is about a foot and a half higher than anyone alive has ever seen it. it s continuing to rise ever so slowly. that s why the sheriff was telling everyone, if you re in evacuation zone a or b, get on you now. we just passed high tide. they think around 2:00 the water levels will recede and go down. then it just be clean-up. there ar ....
