किसान आंदोलन को प्रदेश में धार देने के लिए कांग्रेस ने अब कोशिश तेज कर दी है। कृषि कानूनों के विरोध में 25 फरवरी को कांग्रेस ऊधमसिंह नगर में बड़ा सम्मेलन करने जा रही है। कांग्रेस ने इसके लिए भारतीय किसान यूनियन से भी सहयोग मांगा है।
ब्लॉक स्तर पर पदयात्राएं और प्रदर्शन करेगी कांग्रेस
इसी के तहत सोमवार को कांग्रेस ने पूरे प्रदेश में ब्लॉक स्तर पर पदयात्राएं निकाली जाएंगी और प्रदर्शन किया जाएगा। इस सम्मेलन में कांग्रेस के प्रदेश प्रभारी देवेंद्र यादव, कांग्रेस प्रदेश अध्यक्ष प्रीतम सिंह, नेता प्रतिपक्ष इंदिरा हृदयेश सहित अन्य नेता भी शामिल रहेंगे।
'प्रदेश के किसान भी कृषि कानूनों से खासे प्रभावित हैं'
कांग्रेस प्रदेश अध्यक्ष प्रीतम सिंह के मुताबिक प्रदेश के किसान भी कृषि कानूनों से खासे प्रभावित हैं। गाजीपुर सीमा पर किसान महापंचायत में भी पहुंचकर कांग्रेस ने किसान आंदोलन का समर्थन किया था और स्थानीय किसान समस्याओं को उठाया था। अनुबंधित खेती से पर्वतीय जिले सबसे अधिक प्रभावित होंगे। इसी तरह का फर्क हरिद्वार, ऊधमसिंह नगर आदि जिलों के किसानों पर भी पड़ेगा। यही वजह है कि यहां के किसान आंदोलित हैं।

प्रीतम सिंह के मुताबिक पर्वतीय क्षेत्र के किसानों की समस्याओं को उठाना और भी जरूरी है। पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों में अधिकतर सीमांत किसान हैं और संगठित रूप में इनकी आवाज नहीं उठ पाती। यही वजह है कि प्रदेश व्यापी प्रदर्शन में किसान आंदोलन के समर्थन के मुद्दे को शामिल किया गया है। रविवार को कांग्रेस प्रदेश अध्यक्ष प्रीतम सिंह सहित अन्य नेताओं ने भारतीय किसान यूनियन टिकैत गुट की प्रदेश प्रभारी से मुलाकात कर समर्थन का भरोसा दिलाया।
सोशल मीडिया विभाग निभा रहा सक्रिय भूमिका
कांग्रेस के सोशल मीडिया विभाग के विधान सभा अध्यक्ष रिक्कू कन्नौजिया ने प्रेस को जारी विज्ञप्ति में कहा कि सोशल मीडिया के जरिए कांग्रेस की नीतियों को जन-जन तक पहुंचाया जा रहा है। कांग्रेस का सोशल मीडिया विभाग संगठन में सक्रिय भूमिका निभा रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रदेश अध्यक्ष प्रीतम सिंह के नेतृत्व में जन हित के मुद्दों की लड़ाई सड़क पर लड़ी जा रही है।
कांग्रेस सशक्त विपक्ष की भूमिका निभा रही है। पछवादून क्षेत्र में जिलाध्यक्ष संजय किशोर के नेतृत्व में कांग्रेस मजबूत हुई है। बूथ स्तर पर संगठन को मजबूत किया जा रहा है। बड़ी संख्या में युवा संगठन से जुड़ रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि आने वाले विधान सभा चुनाव में कांग्रेस जीत हासिल करेगी। उन्होंने सभी कार्यकर्ताओं से एकजुटता का आह्वान किया है।

New Delhi: Union Minister Piyush Goyal on Sunday said the government is ready to resume talks with the farmers protesting the new farm laws but asserted that despite repeated proposals, the protesters have not come up with any "concrete suggestion" so far.
Reiterating Prime Minister Narendra Modi's appeal to farmer unions that the government was "just a phone away" to discuss any issues raised by them, Goyal said "but for that somebody at least has to make call so that we can move forward".

With a tearful speech delivered on the live television, Rakesh Tikait overturned the fate of the farmers protest at the Ghazipur site on Delhi and Uttar Pradeshâs border. On the evening of 28 January, Rakesh, the national spokesperson of the Bharatiya Kisan Unionâs Arajnaitik faction in western Uttar Pradesh, refused to vacate the farmersâ protest site at Delhiâs Ghazipur border. A few hours earlier, there had been a huge build-up of police and security forces at the site. Rakesh and other farmer leaders had been served a notice by the local administration, which directed them to clear the site. The government earlier shut off water and electricity supply to the site.

Actor-turned-activist Deep Sidhu, who has been booked in connection with the religious flag incident at Red Fort, has said he needs some time to bring out the truth and then will join the investigation. The 36-year-old Sidhu is in the eye of a storm for being among the protesters who put up a religious flag atop the Red Fort on Republic Day.
âArrest warrant has been issued against me and also a lookout notice has been issued against me. First I want to give this message that I will join the investigation,â Sidhu said in a video uploaded on Facebook.
